Meet Floyd P. Knipe!

Floyd P. Knipe is a former University Of Arkansas and public school teacher. He has traveled to schools in five states sharing his books and promoting students to read and write. He was born in Texas and grew up on a dairy and poultry farm in Arkansas. He always had many animals to care for. Chickens, rabbits, cows, pigs and horses kept him and his family busy. Many of his stories are based on his adventures around his dad’s and later his own farms. “I am the writer but Robbie, my wonderful wife, is the speller” the author jokes. His young readers enjoy his stories because they are funny and filled with adventures shared by human and animal characters.
